Better Together BC: Reconnecting Food and Fun (Sponsored by BC Dairy Association)
Research has shown that children, youth and other social groups benefit in many ways when families eat together. During Eating Together week, Touchstone has teamed up with the BC Dairy Association Better Together BC to deliver this presentation for the community to find out how you can support people in your community to cook and eat together more often using the tools and resources associated with Better Together BC.
Speaker: Sydney Massey
Sydney Massey is the Director of Nutrition Education for the BC Dairy Association. She is a Registered Dietitian and holds a Masters in Public Health Degree. She is one of the people responsible for the initiative, Better Together, created in partnership with the Ministry of Health, to inspire the reconnection of food and fun in the kitchen, a key first step to support eating together more frequently.
