A passionate food lover and an award-winning self-taught chef, Stephanie is a seasoned food writer for both English and Chinese print and online publications. She is the author of ‘East Meets West’, the first cookbook of its kind in N. America that captures the essence of the culture and recipes of Asian cuisines.
Stephanie is the first bilingual (Chinese & English) food & wine journalist for major publications in BC who established and hosted the very first food & wine Chinese radio show. A frequent guest on radio and TV land, Stephanie Yuen also appears on stage at cooking shows and judges culinary events. She organizes and consults on numerous food culture projects and special events and has been regarded as the Asian culinary culture ambassador in BC.
